Administering the estate of a relative or loved one is an important task and one that can be difficult, more so in the absence of a Will.
After a death, the assets are distributed in accordance with the Will. A well drafted Will can make this process easier with an executor having already been appointed. But where there isn't a WIll then an administrator is needed – usually a next of kin.
In either case, the responsibility lies with the executor or the administrator to distribute assets in accordance with relevant laws. If this task has fallen to you, Dale-Lace can advise you on the best way to do this and answer any questions you might have. If you want us to act as estate administrator, we can do this too.
Whatever your requirements, we will communicate with you throughout the process in plain English.
