As the founder of the Firm, I have over 38 years’ experience as a Solicitor. I provide a personal, client focused service. In addition to Residential Conveyancing I also specialise in Commercial Conveyancing. I also offer a service in Wills and Probate.
I was born in Newcastle upon Tyne, where I grew up and later gained a law degree, after completing 2 years of articles with a local firm I attended the College of Law to complete the Law Society’s own examinations to qualify as a Solicitor.
I worked in Newcastle until 1985 until I went on maternity leave and the following year moved to the USA when my husband’s job was transferred there. After returning to the UK in 1987 I went into practice on a part-time basis, until I felt that my children were old enough for me to resume my career on a more permanent basis. Dale-Lace & Co has been my brain-child, firstly working from home and eventually moving to local offices where the business has continued to grow.
My interests include swimming, walking, craft work, music, cooking and travel.

I joined the Firm in 2004. With over 21 years’ experience in Conveyancing I have expert knowledge and experience when dealing with Conveyancing cases and clients. I specialise in Residential Conveyancing. My work ethic is to maintain an individual but professional relationship with my clients. I would describe myself as being very understanding and adaptable to my clients’ needs helping them to come up with practical solutions.
I have lived in Buckinghamshire since I was 3 years old. I started my career in London and worked there for 10 years. However, after having two children I decided to stay closer to home. When I felt my children were old enough for me to go full time I joined Dale-Lace & Co. and decided to specialise more and am currently qualifying as a Licensed Conveyancer.
My Family and pets are very important to me. My passion is all sports but mainly hockey which I not only play but am also qualified to umpire and coach.

My next project is a youngster that I plan to back and train myself. My Other interest is gardening but, given time constraints, has now become a luxury.
I joined the firm in February 2011 and work as a Legal Clerk. I file applications, liaise with the Land Registry on registration matters, and provide general administrative support to the team.
I took A Levels in English Literature, French, German and Music. I then studied English for my undergraduate degree in Oxford and afterwards took the law conversion course in London.
My passion outside of work is music, and I play the violin and piano. Other interests include reading, travelling around Europe with friends and family, and taking long walks in the English countryside. I also enjoy learning foreign languages, going to the theatre and playing tennis.
